Conversations with God : An Uncommon Dialogue by Neale Donald Walsch is a thought provoking book about one man’s relation with God. Walsch spends years writing down questions about religion and God on a legal pad. Out of the blue God starts answering them. It becomes quite complex at times. It’s just nice to see people are interested in what God has to say in this day and age.
If you’re so inclined, and want to read the messages God gave to a man who prayed 1,000,000 prayers than you definitely want to read this Great new book I found about faith, Jesus, God’s message and what we will do in the after-life entitled “The Enlightenment, What God Told Me After One Million Prayers: A Message for Everyone,” by John H. Eagan. It’s really fantastic and the message from God is just amazing. I think the readers of Walsch’s book will really enjoy The Enlightenment. I can’t recommend it enough!

I found this book interesting. Contrary to the teachings of The Holy Bible, the author claims that satan is a “myth,” that Jesus was only a great person (no mention of “Savior”), and seemed to imply that the “things written down 2000 years ago” are open to debate. My questions is this: If all these things written 2000 years ago about God and Jesus were true, WHY would God, in “speaking with Mr. Neale Donald Walsch (as he claims)”, suddenly reverse his previous statements about satan, the validity of the Bible, and the absolute sovereignty of Christ?
I am a skeptic, and I like to think I have an open mind. This book was recommended to me by a colleague. However, I could not help but thinking that Mr. Walsch definitely has a “profit motive” in his writings. “If the item sells, continue to write.” Never mind it may be misinformation. Mr. Walsh, I hope you get this “God thing” right- your eternity may depend on it.
Please reference “Evidence that Demands a Verdict,” by Josh McDowell. A professed athiest that became a Christian because of his research. Go figure.

I bought this ipod touch thinking it would be a great mp3 player and I could surf the web and thinking that would be all! Boy was I wrong. This is the most amazing invention ever made! Not only do I have music, photos, and internet but the applications are out of this world fun and many are free. I love the portability of this thing and just discovered the voice control function which had my ecstatic. Do yourself a favor. If you buy one piece of technology this year, buy an ipod touch. I was debating on whether to buy and ipod or zune and I know I made the right decision with the ipod. I am so happy with this thing you have no idea. If you have any doubts. let them go because this is the real deal. The touch screen is so accurate it’s scary. Buy the ipod touch. You will not be disappointed.

Short and sweet, After buying at least three different scales in the last couple of years, analog and digital, I finally have a scale that is consistent, and does what I want it to… simply give me an accurate weight every time I get onto it. I don’t have to think about how to stand on it like the others, I just step on and TADA! there is my weight… I was using a Health-O-Meter digital prior to this one and I could come up with three different weights within minutes..This one is always the same. So, I am verrrry happy with this purchase as well as the free shipping that went along with it. The EatSmart is consistent although it does read 1.2 pounds less that the Weight Watchers scale when I go to WW meetings but that’s OK… for all I know theirs might be off… I checked mine with hand weights that I placed gently on the glass platform and their weights were accurate.. So, I am very happy with my purchase…

I asked for a vaccumn for Christmas this year and my mother bought this one for me. I had just bought my own place and got a roomba as a house warming present. The downside was that Roomba cannot do the stairs. My mother chose the tempo after reading reviews online. It was within her budget so that this would not be the only christmas present she bought this year I love it! Its light enough for my stairs and is powerful enough for the wood pieces left after moving firewood. The only con about this machine is that its a little on the loud side. But that doesn’t weight too heavily.

Kindle has an user experience that is absolutelly flawless, from shipping the product pre-configured to my account to it’s usabillity features, such as the built-in dictionary. Not to mention that I live in Brazil and I can buy any book in seconds and have it delivered instantly, without having to have any 3G plan with carriers – Amazon handles that for you.

It fits in my hand, it feels great to read it’s text, it allows you to comment sections… I love Kindle. And it deserves mentioning.
