This pedometer is the best. Having the memory so you can check your progress from day to day is awesome and inspiring. I challenge myself everyday to do better than I did the day before. There is something about being held accountable for the steps you take in a day that encourages me to go farther. I even find myself looking for ways to walk more. Like parking farther away from a store, taking stairs and working out more.

My message to you is GET ONE!!!

I really wanted to like this unit, and was very excited to try it out, but it’s going back after two days.
I bought this as an upgrade/replacement for a heart rate monitor, because I train for triathlon and am running my first half marathon this spring. On my first run, it was very easy to set up, sync up, and find satellites, and it worked beautifully. Unfortunately, however, as it is winter and I also enjoy spinning classes and indoor interval work in my training, this unit is going back.
Though it has a heart rate monitor, this is only used for telling you a current heart rate. The GPS is necessary in order to calculate calories burned, despite having my age, heart rate, activity, weight, and gender, and so this does not function on indoor mode, or in a gym, or on a trainer or spin bike. As such, through an spin class and an hour of lifting weights, I burned no calories, but on the drive home, I quickly went through like 58.
It’s pretty useless for people who want to do anything other than walk, run, and bike outdoors in clear weather, away from buildings. If you are in that niche market, I imagine it’s great, but for me, it is already on its way back.

This pedometer lives up to all the on line reviews. It is not the most complex one you can buy, but it may be the most accurate.
It is extremely easy to use. Just throw it in your pocket and forget it until you want to see your results.
My wife liked it so much I have one on order for her.

I grew up with a Jewish Orthodox Dad and Converted Catholic Mom. Tradition was big, Temple attendance required, G-d was never discussed. After yrs of medical/psycho-social education I fell into a not atypical theory that science was my only ‘G-d’.
An assemblage of events led to a 12-step program and face-to-face with an uncomfortable reality. Conquering addiction requires faith in something spiritually ‘larger than yourself’ and a battle began.
I read this among many books of faith etc. It was the mind-twisting non-traditional concepts in the early chapters of this book which gave me a brand new way of looking at, and eventually a reconciliation with my own concept of, spirituality.
While more anecdote than critical review, I hope whom ever reads this will recognize in my story the idea that you can come from any background or set of circumstances, be ‘faith-less’, and find what you are looking for in this book. It helps if you are seeking an answer and open to the non-traditional.
