When I picked up Water for Elephants, I wasn’t quite sure of the topic and was afraid I might have to put this book down – low and behold, it was a great book – very entertaining, the pages just kept turning and I finished the book wanting more! The story of circus life is like none other, as is this book….

ive only used this vacuum a few times so far, but its been great. i couldnt justify a 5 star because of the minimal usage so far. I never want to get another bagless … i had a bagless dirtdevil and the filters (which i had to change about every 2-3 months MAX. i dont have any kids – 1 dog 1 cat ) were about $25 a piece! a lot of these bagless have multiple filters youre suppose to replace. Amazon has a 9pack of bags for this vacuum for $7.75

Pros: good suction, easy to use, overall feel like i am getting the carpet rid of dirt and dander, CHEAP

Cons: cord is a little short, attachment hose a bit short, seems a little heavy

I do notice it does tend to spit stuff back at me when im using it on the vinyl on anything but the barefloor setting … i know (DUH) its a barefloor, use the barefloor setting! but it gets annoying changing the heights multiple times for one vacuum session.

I ultimatly bought this vacuum due to the overwhelming reviews and one of the reviews i read stated that this vacuum was in consumer reports and came out neck in neck with the $300 vacuums. i checked it out, that is exactly correct. as of now, i would buy this vacuum over again and recommend it.

Although vampires, themselves, don’t lend themselves to be endearing characters, Meyer successfully puts them into human-like conflict situations that we can all relate to. In a rare instance, the movie adaptation is better than the book itself because the subtle effect of black/white cannot be translated in a book. Skillful filmmaking on their part, all of which makes for a compelling series of adventures.

Music for young listeners

I have used a pedometer on and off for years. When our office offered a fitness challenge, I knew I wanted to participate. The counting and tracking of steps was essential, so my search began for a reliable pedometer. I checked the local “mart” and sports stores, and did research online. I determined the Omron HJ-112 was the best choice. I carefully calibrated the essential information, and attached it to my pants. The first thing I noticed was that it did a good job of not mistakenly identifying random movement as steps which was a plus. I thought that I was getting an accurate reading until I realized it wasn’t actually counting all my steps. My daughter, who was also participating in the challenge, commented that I don’t have much hip movement when I walk and that’s why it wasn’t working properly. She was right! Her pedometer, which cost significantly less, did a far better job of accurately counting her steps.

Another issue I have with this pedometer is the size. It is bulky and less than discreet. A diabetic family member remarked that it resembles a blood glucose meter or insulin pump. I believe the unwieldy size contributes to the fact that it does not stay securely clipped to clothing. I have lost it repeatedly which is annoying, and contributes to the less than accurate step totals.

I would not recommend this pedometer, nor would I purchase it again.

This book is very hard to know “who done it” and I think you will be surprised when you find out. Liz Carmichael lives in Kentucky where she and two of her friends have a small band to play at weddings etc. Liz used to live in Utah but had a bad break-up with her boy friend and moved away but her cousin Debbie wanted them to play at her wedding. So the three go to Utah where the former boy friend was going to be best man. Liz had already had two break-in at her appartment in Kentucky but nothing was ever taken just everything ramshakled.
When they got to the ski resort at Eagle Summit, she had someone come into her condo again while she was out, then she saw someone on the ski lift at 1:am one morning and that was a mystery. So the story goes on to entail all of that and she met her grandmother there who was very bossy and wanted everything her way. So the moral of the story is go buy the book so that you can read what really happened. I could not put it down and read it all one night. I am not a writer so it is hard for me to write a review but I believe that if you like mysteries you will love this one.

Cleaner worked better than the last cleaner we had, and got the carpet cleaner than when last done proffessionally. I did go very slow, however and used a Bissel cleaner at 1 1/2 times the strength recommended on the bottle. Very satisfied so far.
California Deluxe Food Gift

I procrastinated for a very long time on this purchase and as others have already pointed out, I now ask myself, why did I wait this long? Mind you, I’ve only used it for three runs totaling about 17 miles but thus far I think I can justify a very positive review. For me it was relatively easy to set up. I explored some options before my 1st use and set up a few screens to accommodate running. Cycling will be next. This may well become as indispensable a tool for my workouts and training as running shoes are to running or a bike to cycling. Being able to monitor pace, speed, distance, time, caloric burn, and heart rate adds a scientific basis for making adjustments to my training regimen. The Garmin Workout Center is a great way to track/review your workouts. I’ve yet to explore all the features available with the 305 and there are many such as programmed workouts for running and cycling. One recommendation though, be sure you charge the device well before using. It seems the battery does drain even when it is turned off.
Bottom line, if you are serious about running and or cycling, I don’t see how you can go wrong in purchasing the Forerunner 305. With pricing at approx. a buck and a half it is a bargain.

The Omron HJ-112 Pedometer is easy to secure, read and gain infomation as to just where one is in their daily goal of getting in steps, loss of calories and number of miles covered in seconds. I wear it every day …all day and and check the numbers freqently. It is a great “motivator”. I would recommend it to all who are interested in maintaining good health and fitness.

I purchased one of these about a year ago to help with controlling the unbelievable amount of hair that my German Shepherd leaves in the house. It works great- noticeably better than any other brush I have tried. As long as I brush her regularly, the hair problem in the house isn’t bad.

The reason I am rating the product 4 stars instead of 5 is because:

1) The price is high for the product, in my opinion. I noticed the cost has dropped about 5 bucks from when I purchased mine, but I think the demand is still high enough to allow for a slightly exaggerated retail. The other reason I believe the product is overpriced is item (2) below.
2) It has a design flaw (this may have been addressed in the more current production). There is a weak point in the handle near the top of the rubber grip, and that is where my tool broke after just 6 months of use (but I do use it a lot). The neck size at the point of concern is too narrow, so the plastic handle is vulnerable to snapping with frequent use. However, there is a fix- if yours breaks, just take a wooden dowel or piece of metal tubing that can slip snuggly inside the handle (which is hollow) and either glue the two sections back in place or drill and screw. Since repairing mine, it hasn’t broken again.
