Swami and Friends data
Shaw said that people laughed hardest when he told the simple truth. This book might have been written to illustrate the profundity of that remark, as tiny Swaminathan, so profoundly imagined that we leave the book understanding (and loving) him, enables us to feel a deep tenderness not only for him but for all children (including ourselves). Swami loves (and hustles) his mamaji, loves (and trembles, needlessly, before) his father, loves (and stoutly patronizes and instructs) his Granny, generally conducting his life in school and among his friends with an endearing combination of courage, ablomp, cheek, incomprehension, and vulnerability. Narayan is the writer that Graham Greene admires most in the English language; Swami and Friends is a goodish argument why. The book illustrates how Narayan has come to command the respect of writers and the love of readers throughout the world.

I really can’t add anything that hasn’t been mentioned. For those wanting it for military purposes, it only displays in Lat/Long. I’ve taken this bad boy all over the world, and its the best training partner ever.

Details about Michael Jackson Thank You
I got these DVDs about two months ago, the first one everything is OK but the second DVD has no image. I can hear all the interviews but see nothing. Haw I do to return it and get another one OK ? Moderate quality; the chronology is a little messed . I would like so much to have one good biography of MJ that would show things happening in a chronologic manner, with the right images ( Say… things that happened in the time of “Bad” showing him as he was during that time…you know what I mean?)Well, comparing to some of the other DVD I acquired lately, this is moderate quality.

When the price dropped for the Kindle a few days ago, I was shocked! I was already thinking of buying one, and with so many 5-star reviews, I thought it would be a definite smart buy. But even with the steep price drop I was still not convinced buying one was the right thing to do, then I saw the price for the refurbished one… SOLD. For $170.00 I thought it was a complete steal! Little did I know how wrong I was. Finally got it a few days later, and that’s when I saw the numerous flaws.
1. HORRIBLE PDF VIEWER: If you’re looking to read books in PDF format DO NOT BUY THIS DEVICE! It views them fine, but the lack of a zoom button leaves the reader squinting to interpret microscopic letters (barely even viewable in some cases, Kindle doesn’t boldy display very small lettering thanks to E-Ink)
2. MOST INTERESTING FEATURES ARE “EXPERIMENTAL”: A lot of the features that convinced me to buy the device are considered experimental, and what that means is that they’re not fully developed. For instance MP3s; I know nobody bought the kindle to replace their iPod, but when you use the feature YOU CANNOT CHOOSE SONGS! It plays them like an iPod shuffle (you have to blindly skip through songs). Even the free Wiki access is experimental! BTW Just finding the experimental features in the device is a chore.
3. CANNOT KEEP UP: I started to flip through the “pages” of the guide soon after I bought it, and I soon discovered it takes some time to catch up if you look too fast on it. Found that it frequently had to load for awhile on every other page, I expected a $150.00+ device to at least be fast enough to support the low computing tasks it was built to do. Loading PDFs can be a very long process (breaking the flow of a book, if you’re reading).
4. LIMITED SELECTION: Got on Amazon Kindle site using device, looked for Harry Potter books, couldn’t find them… nuff said.
5. THEY JUST WANT MORE MONEY: Tried to find a free books on the device, took me awhile. Seemed like they weren’

Does GPS Black Navigator Garmin really work?
Just about everyone knows the premise of Twilight. A teenage girl named Bella Swan moves to Forks, Washington and while there catches the eye of the hottest most mysterious guy in school. He has several secrets and she is determined to find them out and when she does a great love story ensues. She loves him and he loves her back while at the same time wanting to kill her in a horribly bloody way to drink her sweet, sweet blood. It is all very romantic.
Now let me just say this up front. While the sentence structures might be simple and the characterization, dialogue, and diction severely lacking the book is a solid piece of literature. It gets young people reading, and while the messages might not be entirely up to snuff with modern day strides in women’s rights, the book grabs and holds the interest of young people and among a generation that is reading less and less I think this is very important. It may not be great literature, it may not be enlightening or even empowering for the young women that read it; but for what it is, escapist romance, it does its job for its target audience very well.
I have a lot of problems with the book obviously. Nothing that just about everyone else has probably already said better than I can ever say it but here goes. As far as the mechanics of the book goes the characterization of both main characters really just sketch out empty shells for you to fill with whomever you might wish. Bella is defined almost entirely by her relationship with Edward. Edward is left almost completely in the dark and I’m assuming (hoping?) he will be fleshed out more beyond his amazing beauty and perfection in a future book. The dialogue was not very inspired or snappy. I’ve read even duller dialogue, I’ve read better too though. It was nothing to get excited over though. The diction, and by this I mean the vocabulary of the book, seemed very limited. We are told at least twenty or more times (I lost count after that) about Edward’s angelic face. Snap

We were having a BIG shedding problem with our Lab at home. We used several other grooming and shedding tools with her, but it was still a problem. With the Furminator, the problem is simply GONE. And our dog loves it too!
