I bought this program for my new laptop. This version of microsoft word is not compatable with my earlier versions of word and I was unable to share it between my two computers. It was a complete waste of money for me. I am writing a book and I am not about to change all the files I have previously written over the last 8 years. Buyer Beware.

I had done some research and decided to buy a new camera. While the camera is not the important part of this review, its the whole reason for it.
Ibought the camera and this memory card was recomended to me so I bought it… BAD idea! I used this BRAND NEW card in my BRAND NEW camera to take pictures of my second daughters birth. We took about 400 photos and the card didnt respond when hooked up to the computer. So I took it to the camera store $80.00 later only 1/3 of the pictures could be rendered from their “special software”. To make a long story short, if you get a good deal on a camera PAY EXTRA for a good card it will save you headache.

Love this pedemeter – I’ve been through 4 of these now. I find it incredibly motivating tracking my every step!

This one is sturdier; the clip seems stronger and it doesn’t fall off like others I’ve had. It’s pretty accurate and doesn’t record steps when I am biking (which I like).

It is a bit larger than I realized, so it sticks out further than I would prefer. I haven’t tried it in the pocket yet, but am going to.

I love books where multiple characters are telling their stories and you can see how their lives interconnect and what they think of each other and events that happen. I absolutely loved reading about this era and how even though someone is brought up thinking it’s normal, they can formulate their own opinions about how things should be. I thought Skeeter was such a powerful character because of that, and I love how she questions things and ends up finding people who are on her side.

Aibileen was such a brave character, as well as Minny, and I’m glad their characters were able to tell Skeeter their stories.

I didn’t find out until the end of the book that Kathryn Stockett used her own experiences to inspire her writing, and when I read that at the very end, it made the book all that more powerful to me. I had a hard time putting it down, and it was one of those books that I kept thinking about the story for weeks after reading it.

I am happy with the product. My library bookcase is completely full, and I could not get another book into it, so this is the best thing for me! I don’t have to get any more actual books. I find I read faster when I use it too.

Ordered on Monday night, had it in hand Wed afternoon loaded with the books I had purchased while I anxiously awaited its arrival. I’ve had it now almost a month and I am thrilled with it. I absolutely love the size and ability to have so many books in a small device that I can drop in my purse. The battery life is excellent. I’ve only charged it twice.

It is super easy to put together, beautiful, the gate seems to operate in a way my little one will not be able to figure out, once you make the shape you want and tighten to lock each corner in place it is very sturdy. I have no comment about attaching to walls.
My complaints are: it is very expensive and you need to at least buy 1 extension (ideally 2). The space the original superyard provides is way too small.
I have used it (with 1 extension) with my 8 month old for a few days now and am pleased with my choice.

Normally, I don’t leave feedback, but I am really unsatisfied with this product!

After I came back from my Honeymoon trip last month, I still took some photos with my Transcend 8 GB class 6 SDHC card with new camera Nikon Coolpix P100. P100 automatically creates new folder with every 200 photos I took. Totally, I got 14 folder in my 8GB Transcend SDHC before yesterday.

Yesterday, I try to review the photos I took, and I found the last two folder #13 and #14 are “EMPTY”. I lost my photos from June 13 to recent(July 14, 2010)!!!.

While I was looking for a new apt in the last 30 days, I took about 300 photos and NOW THEY ARE GONE. Yes, the folders are empty.

No matter I use camera or card reader, I just can’t find any photos in this two folders. Even I use two data recover software try to rescue the missing photos, I can’t find them. THEY JUST GONE~!

Lucky me, I only lost two folder (latest folder) of photos. I backed up the first 2.8 GB photos right away. (My honeymoon photos, once a lifetime)

I have three Transcend 8 GB (all class 6) and one Kingston 8 GB class 6 on hand. I think I’ll just dump Transcend SDHC after I got more SDHC cards from Kingston or SanDisk.

In the future, I think I won’t buy any SDHC card from Transcend any more. Though it’s cheaper than Kingston or SanDisk.

For people still take photos with Transcend SDHC card, my suggestion, BACK UP YOUR VALUABLE PHOTOS FREQUENTLY AND DON’T USE UP TO HALF OF THE CAPACITY~! Good luck, people!

I just cannot trust this brand any more~!

I’ve owned this scale for two months now, and I use it daily, always in the same place and at the same time of day. The reading seems to be fairly accurate from day to day. However, I’ve noticed a couple quirks that can result in a false reading. The first is that the scale does not always give an accurate reading the first time I step on it, and the second is that the scale will remember the last reading for at least a couple minutes or longer. (I realize the second problem contradicts what a previous reviewer stated; this is my own experience.)

Here’s how I discovered those idiosyncrasies:

I’ve tried weighing myself alone and while holding something weighing a couple pounds (a waste basket or hair dryer, for example). It’s good to see that the scale registers a difference between the two weights. However, if I weigh myself alone for the first weighing of the day, then a few seconds after while holding something, then alone again, I’ll get two different readings for the two alone weights. I’ve also tried weighing myself twice in a row at the start of the day, then while holding something, then alone again, and the first two alone readings would be the same but inaccurate, and the third alone reading would be correct (or at least consistent from that point forward, whether I hold something between readings or not).

My solution:

I take the first weighing of the day while holding something, which I suppose wakes up the scale and prepares it for the real deal. Then I step off, put down the object, and re-weigh myself. That second reading is the accurate one for the day. It’s a little annoying, but it works.

Also, the scale does change slightly sometimes depending on its placement on the floor, but I’ve learned to keep it in one spot. It looks nice and the readout is bright and clear, so those are definite pluses to me.

I suppose I’d give this 3.5 stars overall.
