Looking back, maybe I should have read the negative ones first. The problem I am having is that the scale never resets itself to zero; instead it always starts at 4 pounds. The only way to reset it to zero is to take the batteries out-which is very inconvenient.

Unfortunately, I was not able to send it back to Amazon with-in the return period so now I am stuck with it. Caution, many of the negative reviews state that the company has an offer where if a positive review is given, the reviewer will get a free item.

The Omron HJ-112 is the BEST pedometer I have ever owned. The product keeps accurate steps and has not broke down (which my other products did within a month of use).
