The screw for the battery compartment does not seem to be an isolated problem. The screw for the battery cover is an extremely small Phillips head. There is a flat piece of metal provided with a tab on each end. This supposed to be the screwdriver. Ordinarily this might work. But in this case the tab is too long to fit in the cross-slot. Therefore the screw cannot be removed so the battery can be inserted. I have jewelers screwdrivers but doubt they would work because the cross-slots are so small they appear nearly round. Makes it difficult to screw in or out.
It’s a shame because the product looks and feels good. But with no battery it is no better than a paper weight, in fact not that good. It’s not heavy enough to hold paper down.
There are MANY other ways to secure a battery compartment. Too bad they didn’t choose one of them. I have sent this thing back to Amazon. Don’t waste your time or money on this product.

This Twilight series makes me want to puke when I know that the de facto vampire series has already been written by Anne Rice. Are you Twilight fans aware of The Vampire Chronicles? Twilight is akin to Fabio novels for teenie boppers. If you are at all interested in reading the best vampire series that has and more than likely will ever be written, stop wasting your time w/this fluff and check out The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice.

I just finished this book, and I can’t believe the reviews I’ve seen here. Did I read the same book as the rest of you? It seemed to me to be a thoughtful, sincere effort to understand the sad estrangement from her only daughter. One television interview warrants 8YEARS OF SILENCE? Give me a break!!! While the actors on Friends are certainly talented, no one deserves that kind of money! Her mother did without all those years, supported her, emotionally and otherwise, and this is how she is treated? I don’t think the mother is self-centered, egotistical or borderline, at all. It sounds to me more like you’re describing her daughter. I’m a firm believer of “Karma”, and I really believe this will come back around to haunt Jennifer. I would give anything to have my wonderful mother here to talk to. I think Nancy Aniston has done a courageous job of “getting on with her life”. I totally recommend this book. Karol Santiago

This is my first review, and I have to say that this shedding tool is WONDERFUL. I wish I had know of it 6 years ago when I got our Shepherd/rott mix. Spring has always been a pain when it comes to shedding season with this dog, and the first time I used the furminator on her, it took out almost all of the undercoat. I HIGHLY recommend this comb.
