My husband & I like how easy this kettle is to fill and clean but once the water came to a boil the handle was blistering hot and burnt my hand. There are nice looking rubber grips on the handle, but it does not cover all of the metal and it does not protect your hand from the hot steel. Some people had no trouble with this at all and I’m glad for them, but nevertheless, some customers had the same complaint as I do and one customer’s grips were melted off from the excessive heat. If you buy this kettle, just be sure to take it off the heat promptly once the liquid comes to a boil to avoid searing your hand. I have no other complaints about it. It looks nice and cleans up easily in my opinion.

We listened to this on a road trip out west and I loved it! The story itself was a great leave from my everyday, but the voices were fantastic! I loved hearing cantankerous 90 (or 93..) year old Jakob tell his tale. If you enjoyed reading this book, I’m sure you will love it more hearing the tale from the two Jakobs. If you haven’t read the book, there is a good chance you will be drawn in by the storytellers and end up loving it. We sat in the car after we arrived home for the last 10 minutes of the book we were so enthralled.

Get this and listen to it!

KitchenAid Architect Series II

Let me start by mentioning that I’m not a big fan of sticking things to my car window any where near my sight lines. Moreover, suction cups always eventually let go and the wires etc. end up being a pain for me. So this friction mount was an ideal solution. It is quite stable. It doesn’t move at all going around curves or on shorter than normal stops. It rotates and allows for angle changes, which is excellent when requesting passenger assistance with data entry or when optimizing for glare reduction and other difficult conditions. The GARMIN unit is easy in, easy out. No problems at all. I strongly recommend this item.

The Furminator deShedding tool really works. I have purchased at least 4 other brushes in the past and none of them worked on my Pug, they would irritate her skin. With the Furminator she sits and loves the combing. No more pug hair all over my clothes and furniture. I highly recommend this product.

I can’t believe how much hair this brush gets. When I brush my dog I just keep brushing and brushing, getting handfulls of hair, and it just keeps coming off. After he even feels different around his but and neck where he sheds the worst. It feels like it is getting out all the under hair that is ready to come out. And it doesn’t pull, he gets excited when I get the brush out.

I also can’t believe how much cheaper it is on here. At petco and petsmart it was around $60, and at my local pet stoer it is $90 for the same exact thing.

I have been watching the Kindle 1 since it first came out and thought that it was good concept but way too expensive at the time. Now, I finally made the leap and purchased the Kindle 2 (2nd Generation) about a month ago. I am so glad that I waited because of the following: 1) The design is hands down better than the Kindle 1. It’s sleek, stylish and very slim. 2) I bought a refurbished Kindle 2 from Amazon at a steal. Note: buy a refurbished unit from Amazon. It is not as big of a risk as people think; you will save a lot of money by buying a refurbish one instead of buying a brand new one.

For me, reading was exciting before, but now, with the latest technology this takes you to a whole new level of reading without taking you away from the experience of reading. The best features I like about the Kindle is the capability of being able to listen to music and podcasts while I am reading. I hope in the future they will allow you to categorize your music and podcast in the same manner that you can categorize your books and magazines now. After I have read a “free sample” of a book that I am not familiar with, I can then buy a book anywhere by simply going to the Kindle Store and downloading from their site in about 10 seconds.

P.S. love the new Kindle commercial with the people on the beach just simple sitting by the ocean reading. For those of you who haven’t seen it, this 2 people are sitting reading their Kindles and not one word is being spoken (This is comparing the iPad to the Kindle). Take that iPad! I Love, Love, Love My Kindle!!!!

Overall, it is okay. I got a new PC that came with MS Office Pro but I didn’t need all the features and it was expensive. I got this one. However, I have to uninstall the Pro before I could install this one. It is just stupid! Someone told me one can just enter the new product key and it would activate the ones that installed/came with my new laptop. I think I will download the free upgrade of MS Office 2010.
