The Kindle is fantastic in every possible way. It met and exceeded my expectations. Easy to use, easy to read, etc., etc. I haven’t been able to read much for years due to failing eyesight and difficulty holding books. All that has changed now! Plus it’s really easy getting free previews and it’s also easy and CHEAP to buy the books. No more printed books piling up, either (all my shelves are over-full). We were even able to order books via the 3G connection in very remote areas of the country. And it holds a charge forever! No worries about the battery running out of juice for a long, long time. I actually ordered this one for my husband, thinking I’d use it once in a while as well. After having it only a couple days, I realized my time on it was going to be very limited (I can’t get it out of my husband’s hands very often!), so I ordered another one for myself. All the marketing and advertising is true, but it’s even better than they say, especially now that the price has come down to a reasonable level.

What can’t I say this amazing product. Besides downloading my favorite music and videos, there are thousands of apps you can use. I’ve customized my unit with apps that I can use in my work. It’s great! I use it all day long. It was particularly helpful during a recent vacation. I was able to send and receive emails.

Ew. This is perhaps the largest WASTE of money I have ever seen. The graphics are crap, the contols are crap, and the games are crap. Birthday Party Games exclusive to Wii! Carnival Games exclusive to Wii!!!! Any respectable video gamer should never even THINK about buying this piece of crap. The only good game I have played on it is Metroid Prime 3, and if that game never came about, I would be giving this system 1 star. The graphics are an absolute DISGRACE. This thing was released 2 YEARS after Xbox 360 (great graphics), and the Miis (kind of like Xbox Avatars) don’t even have arms or legs!!! WiiSports is ridiculously wrong, seeing as in baseball the mii does not even run to 1st base until the ball is either caught or hit out of reach. Next gen console?! THATS BS!!!! The only thing that makes it anything like a nextgen console is the menu, which is wortless anyway. To be fully convinced, play the game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on the Xbox 360 or PS3 and then play it on the Wii and you’ll see what I mean. They had to make 2 different versions of the game because the Wii has practically no processing power. Another game issued by the same company, LucasArts, called Fracture was released only on Xbox and PS3. Someone on the internet asked why and a LucasArts official said Wii doesn’t have the processing power. That’s an absolute load of crap. Wii was released 2 YEARS after Xbox!!! Oh my god, what is wrong with you Nintendo?!!!! There is no multiplayer service, and I know some Wii fanboy is gonna come arguing to me that “You can connect your wii to Wi-Fi”, but that is no multiplayer. The only game I’ve come across that has ANY ABILITY WHATSOEVER to play people online is freaking MARIO KART!!!! The controls are absolute garbage. Theres only 1 joystick!!!! What?!!! Just about every gaming system I’ve ever PLAYED has 2. And the motions idea is stupid. They are waaaayyyy too sensitve. Wii MotionPlus only makes it worse. Do not buy this. I bought this cable for 1 penny a 5 dollars shipping and the only regret I have is not buying more. I would have glady bough a dozen of these even if I didn’t need them just cause they’re so cheap. If you are paying 40 dollars for “Gold Plated, High Speed, High Definition HDMI Cable” why? None of that matters. All HDMI cables do is send 0’s and 1’s to your tv. None of that other stuff makes a difference.
