Take away Wireless Mouse 2 Keyboard
I had purchased the i-Rocks RF-6572L (white) wireless keyboard and mouse combo. That unit works great with my Ubuntu 9.10 box however, the sleep mode on the keyboard appeared flawed causing batteries to drain quickly. I RMA’d it thinking they would send a replacement, but, instead they gave me a refund and the price increased by $20. So, I tried this Gear Head version.
- The Gear Head works flawlessly with my Linux OS as well.
- Out of the box, all function keys map perfectly to Ubuntu 9.10 including volume up & down, mute, suspend, calculator, …
- The range is quite good as well. I get an easy 20+ feet and I believe it is rated at 30 feet.
- The mouse is pretty good, however, the center wheel button click is unusually difficult (stiff) to click (could just be my unit).
- The rest of the mouse keys work quite well.
- The default mouse tracking is too quick; you’ll likely need to slow the tracking down (an issue if you may using both a wired & wireless mouse if for example you have a KVM switch connected to multiple PCs like I do).
- The keyboard is not as nice as the i-Rocks. The keys just don’t have the same touch quality as your higher-end keyboards. However, it is fine for occasional use if for example you’re using this with a home entertainment center across the room.
- The function keys located at the ends of the keyboard are fine if used stationarily on a desk. However, if you plan to be on a couch with this on your lap, you’ll find yourself accidentally hitting these keys as you handle the keyboard to move it.
- I cannot comment on battery life at this point, but, hopefully this won’t be an issue.
- Longevity; time will tell. Hopefully the Lifetime Warranty is never needed.
If the keys of the keyboard were slightly more sensitive to the touch or had keys with greater depth, and, the center wheel button on the mouse was easier to depress, this would be a five star combination; especially with the lifetime warranty if that is indeed true (another

Review about Tablecover Minnie Mouse Party
The handle with the triggers is so poorly designed. I called Hoover to order a replacement since the original one didn’t work. The replacement was just as bad. The machine bottom with the brushes actually looks like it would work great if you can get past attaching the handle. I consider myself very talented when it comes to fixing and building things. I can say the the design of the handle and how the triggers work is horrible. Perhaps you’ll have better luck.

See T Minnie Shirt Mouse now
I wanted a scale that would be easy to read and simple to use and I found it! You just step on it, it make no noise and the numbers are easy to read. If you move it, the first time you step on it, a weight will appear, followed by a “C”. That’s all there is to re-calibrate it. Step on it again, and your correct weight will appear.
